Job Description
MAIN SCOPE OF THE JOB:
The Assistant Kids Club Manager supports the Kids Club Manager in the daily operation, supervision, and administration of the Rixy Club. This role ensures the delivery of a safe, engaging, and high-quality kids’ program , while assisting in team leadership, activity planning, guest satisfaction, and compliance with hotel policies and ISO Integrated Management Systems. The Assistant Kids Club Manager acts on behalf of the Kids Club Manager in their absence.
MANDATORY (ISO IMS) COMPLIANCE
All employees must adhere to the established ISO Integrated Management System standards, including Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Customer Complaint Handling (ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, 10002), hotel SOPs, and applicable legal requirements. Active participation in risk management, safety programs, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement is required.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Guest Experience
· Assist in overseeing daily Kids Club operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient service
· Support the planning and execution of daily, weekly, and seasonal activity programs
· Ensure activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards
· Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by proactively addressing parent concerns and feedback
· Ensure accurate child registration, attendance tracking, and incident reporting
Team Supervision & Leadership
· Supervise, guide, and motivate Kids Club Animators and Attendants
· Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and task allocation
· Provide on-the-job coaching and performance feedback to team members
· Ensure grooming, professionalism, and service behavior standards are met
· Step in as acting Kids Club Manager when required
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure strict adherence to child safety, health, and hygiene standards
· Monitor playgrounds, activity areas, and equipment for safety risks
· Ensure emergency procedures and first aid protocols are followed
· Report and document incidents, accidents, or near-misses promptly
Administration & Inventory
· Assist in maintaining inventory control for toys, equipment, and supplies
· Coordinate replacement, repair, and ordering of materials when necessary
· Support reporting, record keeping, and operational documentation
· Ensure the Kids Club area is clean, organized, and fully operational at all times
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
· Coordinate with Entertainment, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments
· Support initiatives to improve service quality, creativity, and operational efficiency
· Encourage team participation in sustainability, energy saving, and environmental programs
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Previous experience in Kids Club operations, childcare, recreation, or hospitality is required
· Supervisory or assistant managerial experience is strongly preferred
· Background in education, early childhood development, hospitality, or recreation is an advantage
· First Aid / Child Safety certification is preferred
