Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead a team of accounting professionals.
· Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks
· Prepare and review various monthly financial reports for department heads and senior management
· Oversee daily financial operations, including general cashier's report and back-office collection
· Ensure timely and accurate preparation and online filing of business taxes
· Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations
· Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency
· Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
· Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all accounting activities
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting supervisory role
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, best practices, and UAE financial regulations
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong leadership and team management abilities
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
· Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
