About you

We are looking for experienced Piling Supervisors with experience managing teams of piling operatives to work on ongoing projects in and around Melbourne. You will be able to explain and understand the steps involved in assembling and disassembling a rig. You will also be an effective leader who is able to motivate their teams to meet project deadlines. The ability to ensure the safety of the work on the projects is a high priority and you will be experienced in implementing and managing safety. Communication skills are also key to the role as you will need to be able to effectively communicate with all personnel on site.

Duties

· Report to the Project Manager
· Manage the daily activities on site
· Assist with set up
· Order plant and equipment
· Daily planning
· Supervision of the piling crew
· Implementation of OH&S
· Keep accurate site records

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Minimum 5 years' experience supervising piling crews
·  3 years' experience plus operating piling rigs, running jobs and solving on-site problems
·  Able to read plans and set out jobs
·  Able to meet project deadlines
·  Strong communication skills
·  Excellent OH&S awareness
