UK Sales Support Team
The UK Sales Support Team (UK SST) is a UKI Exec sponsored initiative to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business development spend and improve overall sales outcomes through provision of a wide range of standardised high quality support services to the Operating Groups and Growth Platforms. Based in both UK and India, the team provides support for any phase of the sales lifecycle from standard content and customised research to proposal authoring and management, enabling the sales teams and subject matter experts more time to spend developing tailored and differentiated solutions and managing the relationships with their clients.
The UK SST has also developed a self-service offering that provides access to sales content, tools, training and best practice advice and guidance for anyone who is supporting and /or managing a sales proposal.
Being a founding member of the global sales enablement network, the UK SST is able to draw from a wide pool of resource to support the UK practice and has experience of partnering with many of the local/global capability and offering teams to deliver high quality support to the sales teams.
Since launch in July 2011, the UK SST has supported over 1,500 sales proposals and helped over 300 client teams achieve average BD spend savings of 8%, paying for itself many times over.
Role Description
The UK SST Demand Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for support service requests coming into the team from the Operating Groups and Growth Platforms, and is responsible for assigning resources with appropriate skill levels and availability to requests for support. They will also be responsible for coordinating support for Tender Monitoring and IT Sales Framework administration and reporting on behalf of the H&PS practice.
Skills and Experiences
Demand Coordination
· Receive and manage incoming sales support requests via UK SST Portal and mailbox
· Work with Service Delivery Leads (UK and India) to understand the scope, complexity and priority of specific support requests
· Work with Service Delivery Leads (UK and India) to understand team utilisation and support capacity
· Work with Service Delivery Leads (UK and India) to assign support requests across team
· Establish and maintain the UK SST Demand Tracker to provide real time insight into team support commitments
· Track and report progress against utilization targets, win/loss rates, total deals supported, value of deals supported, etc.
· Proactively monitor MMS and CSG sales pipelines to identify opportunities for UK SST support services
· Use historical information/trend analysis to inform demand pipeline planning and team capacity planning and forecasting
· Support the daily UK SST demand pipeline meetings to review status of support requests
· Monitor and report of the assignment of ad-hoc (quick turn-around) support requests.
UK SST Government Tender Monitoring and Reporting Service
· Act as the CSG SPoC for all Government tender/IT framework sales opportunities
· Work with the sales teams to agree, maintain and communicate ownership of frameworks
· Manage the UK SST support team (Manila) to identify, triage and promote visibility of tender opportunities to nominated owners with the CSG
· Oversee the administrative (contractual and non-contractual) requirements of each of the frameworks
· Undertake data analysis to provide market insight into Government Departmental IT spend
· Work with UK SST Operations Lead to monitor and report on cost of Tender Monitoring and Reporting Service
· Work with UK SST Operations Lead to develop CSG Quarterly Tender Monitoring MI Pack for CSG
· Oversee the tender monitoring and reporting process and governance and identify and implement continuous improvement where necessary.

Knowledge and / or experience of the sales process is not a prerequisite for this role. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and support.
