Job Description

Accenture provides integrated finance and accounting services to a large global technology corporation, across six global delivery locations. The engagement spans over 100 countries and includes over five hundred individual roles worldwide incorporating thirty six languages. The Tax Analyst is a client facing role which reports directly to the Tax Team Lead with primary responsibility of execution of existing Tax processes and providing support to the Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

· Audit Support: gather, research and analyze information requested by Tax Auditors, including reconciling Sales versus Tax Returns.
· Customer Support: work directly with customers, gathering the necessary information in accordance to current procedures in order to establish whether Taxes were correctly applied on invoices issued by the client. This includes, but is not limited to researching the current legislation in the tools provided, retrieving invoices, searching for similar cases, validating exemption certificates, etc.
· Refund Claims Preparation of Sales Use Tax Refund Claims for several different tax jurisdictions, liaising directly with the third party providers in order to ensure the information provided is accurate and within the Statute of Limitations.
· Ad hoc activities: The Tax Analyst will be asked to support ad hoc requests from the Tax Team Lead, Accenture Service Delivery Lead and Client.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

·  High School diploma or GED
·  Minimum of 2 years of finance experience
·  Minimum of 1 year of experience working with ERP system

Preferred:

·  1 year experience working with Microsoft Office
·  Associates degree in Accounting
