Software Engineering Graduate Careers at Accenture

Software Engineering Graduates work to drive technology development programmes to deploy in different environments.
What will you be doing?
· As an Associate on our Software Engineering Graduate Programme you'll gain exposure to many different assignments from development to deployment. The programme combines formal training with practical, hands-on experience in live development environments
· You'll develop your knowledge of technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Java/J2EE, C#, BEA WebLogic and more. All this will click into place as you help to build client applications. There will also be the chance to gain an ICTTech certification
· After a few days spent on a formal induction, you'll embark on a fantastic training programme which will give you a wealth of insight into testing and technologies such as Java, .NET, IBM Rational Toolset and SAP (ABAP)
· Then we'll assign you to a project where you'll build your skills on the job
What do you need?
· To qualify for our Software Engineering Graduate Programme, you will typically need a degree in IT, Computer Science or a technology-related subject (There is no UCAS requirement)
· We also take Maths, Science and Engineering Graduates with a passion and flair for IT
· You could have qualifications in technology related subjects, such as a BTEC or HND
· Or you might have had exposure to programming languages such as C++, SQL, Java, Visual Basic or .NET, and operating systems such as UNIX. Yes, we don't want to exclude any tech talents
· A real passion for technology and the desire to build on your skills analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team
· Willingness to work on out of town assignments.

What is the application process?

· To get started, you will need to fill out an online application form and answer a couple of free text questions
· You'll also need to upload a CV and a Covering Letter (no more than 300 words) as to your motivation in applying to Accenture for the role
HireVue interview
· This is an on demand video interview which will consist of both video questions and an online coding and aptitude challenge
· You will be asked to discuss your key reasons for applying to Accenture and talk about your interest in technology and your relevant skills
· You can take this interview at a time and location convenient to you and will receive full instructions and advice on how to complete the interview
· During the interview you are able to rerecord your responses should you not be happy with your first answer
Assessment Centre
· This is the final stage of the recruitment process, where you will participate in various assessed activities
· Usually these include a face to face interview and group exercise task
· There is also a Q&A session to speak freely with current Accenture Software Engineering Grads to find out first-hand what it's actually like to work for Accenture as a Graduate
