What a Service Designer does @ Fjord
Tasks
· Design and develop service concepts
· Conduct qualitative and quantitative field research using design research techniques
· Analyze and synthesize field and online data to identify main insights and translate them into service concepts
· Visualize, prototype and test your service concepts
· Present to clients, facilitate workshops and host co-creation sessions
· You will use strategic thinking to produce solutions which take into account both user needs and business goals
· Create customer stories and visualize them
· Gather, analyze and establish service requirements
Tools of the trade
· Adobe Creative Suite
· Pen, paper and post-it
· Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc)
· Fluent with design research techniques, storytelling and presentation skillse Creative Suite
Desired profile
· 1-3 years of practical experience: Graduated in design, research or another relevant educational background
· Passionate about design solutions, concept development and design research
· Able to tackle problems analytically and innovatively
· Experience with applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers
· Customer centricity is what you want do!
· Working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management and user research
· Team player with a sense of humor
