Operations professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. Depending on the role, Outsourcing professionals may be based at a client's office or in one of Accenture's 50 delivery centers around the world.

The Senior Mainframe Operator will provide technical expertise to analyze, monitor, support and coordinate the operations & maintenance of IBM mainframe systems . This role will also be performing optimization and performance testing, provide technical support for incident response, and maintain a secure environment in compliance with client SLA's.

Key Responsibilities :

· Monitor system alerts and take actions, following standard operating procedures
· Create incident tickets through ServiceNow
· Escalating issues to Level 2 support or application teams
· Reply to messages from the console
· Resolve JCL Abends abnormal ends by following the Operator Instructions
· Execute IPLs and DRP test following standard operating procedures
· Execute requests for single job submissions
· Control batch critical path execution time
· Update the Operations Diary for shift hand over

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM Mainframe operations / systems support
