Join Accenture The Dock, our multidisciplinary research and incubation hub located in the heart of Dublin 2's tech quarter. The Human Insights Lab (HIL) supports Accenture and its clients to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity by provoking our social imagination, driven by deep expertise in the social sciences, arts and humanities. We are an agile and people-centred team with a commitment to research excellence, critical thinking, creativity and empowerment.

We are seeking two dynamic researchers to join our Human Insights Lab.

About The Role

As a Researcher in the Human Insights Lab you will be working on research and engagement broadly linked to two themes – trustworthy technology and sustainable/inclusive innovation . In line with Accenture's commitment to delivering shared success for all broader stakeholders in innovation, your work will seek to deliver value for our clients and Accenture, people and society.

As one of a team of Researchers, you will:

· Support senior researchers at all stages of projects:
· Support the research design to answer research questions that are relevant to c-level decision makers, demonstrating originality in framing of research ideas and approaches.
· Conduct, document and summarize secondary research.
· Assist in running research experiments (including action research where possible), conduct quantitative or qualitative research where appropriate, and contribute to the development of immersive research experiences as part of the engagement programme.
· Prepare background materials for interviews, surveys and workshops and analyze outputs.
· Assemble data from multiple sources, and conduct high-quality analysis.
· Draft research findings.
· Write case studies.
· Presenting research findings internally and externally
· Contribute to the writing of research-grounded materials for internal and external publication.
· Liaise with other analyst colleagues in order to apply start-of-the-art techniques and methods.
· Present findings of your work internally and be ready to answer specific questions.
· Advance HIL's research capability as a discipline and a practice through a highly collaborative and inclusive style
· Actively collaborate with teammates on activities
· Represent HIL research to Accenture people and clients
· Participate in engagement activity for Dockers, Accenture people, clients and society

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Set yourself apart by demonstrating a comprehensive mix of hard and soft skills including:

·  Demonstrated ability to conduct advanced primary and secondary research, using both quantitative and qualitative research methods
·  Demonstrated ability to synthesize fragmented information from multiple sources into a coherent summary, and to develop structured communications
·  Familiarity with, and interest in, key contemporary debates relating to global economic, geopolitical, technological and social trends and issues, and their impact on organizations
·  Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with Accenture people, clients and other third parties
·  Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation and a willingness to take ownership
·  Experience working collaboratively with business/ innovation / industry
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
·  Ability to learn new software quickly; fluency with Microsoft Office and with online research tools (particularly Endnote)

Your experience should be equivalent of:

·  Relevant undergraduate degree in social science with quantitative component e.g. psychology, sociology, anthropology, behavioural science.
·  3+ years of relevant experience in industry-aligned research projects
·  Experienced with evidence-based and/or ethnographic research
·  A post-graduate degree would be an advantage.
