The performance tester will help to conduct and record multiple types of tests, record and track defects and resolutions, and track issues. The tester will be responsible end to end performance testing in an Java/J2EE, Oracle and other software environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile methodology and ensure software is tested and properly documented prior to release.

What you get to do in this role:

· Design, develop, maintain testing framework for performance testing for Software applications.
· Deliver performance testing solutions.
· Define and establish test metrics to measure quality of testing.
· Work with business representatives, business analysts, development and support teams to ensure testing deliverables to the clients are on time
· Develop efficient and effective quantitative methods and guidelines, in order to continuously improve quality processes and practice.
· Provides estimates for test execution as inputs to project planning.
· Executes performance testing and analysis of complex systems to ensure systems are compliant with requirements and can perform smoothly.
· Create reports for performance metrics, scalability and trend analysis.
· Logging defects for any issues encountered for development teams to resolve.
· Works with Application Developers to verify and fix defects to improve performance.
· Coordinate with other testers to resolve test problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Provides guidance and coaching to junior Testers and Application Developers if needed.

Qualifications :

Job Requirements:

·  Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
·  2 – 8 years working experience working in software quality assurance or testing.
·  Competencies with different performance testing and monitoring tools
·  Familiarity with Agile framework is a plus.
·  Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
·  Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic Client environment
