Overall purpose of job:

The role we are looking to fill will:

· Develop and drive the overall narrative and reputation of The Dock internally and externally supporting Accenture's overall positioning as a leader in Innovation
· Collaborate and connect with (global) Growth and Strategy marketing team to support Accenture's innovation positioning connecting closely with the enterprise wide content programme
· Own and drive the internal and external marketing plan to drive awareness of the work and impact of The Dock
· Plan and deliver a range of communication assets to tell The Dock story and communicate with relevant audiences.

The candidate must possess a minimum of 8-10 years' experience and will have broad experience of a range of marketing programmes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with an ability to cope with ambiguity while having strong creative communication skills and marketing flair. They will be an excellent collaborator with the required skills and ability to scale and industrialize programmes connecting to the wider Accenture business. Strong skills in content creation, curation and management will be a significant advantage.

The successful Candidate will demonstrate executive presence, strong stakeholder management skills, and have experience presenting ideas to senior management and seeing them through to execution and delivery. Particular experience is required in running programmes that demonstrate strategic vision, taking a concept right through to execution to achieve superior results. Experience within the technology or innovation ecosystem is an advantage.

As a key member of the Ireland Marketing Leadership team, this role will report directly to the Director of Marketing in Ireland and have a dotted reporting line to Growth & Strategy Marketing Leadership.

Marketing & Communications is a diverse function responsible for brand management and advertising, social media, sponsorships, client centric marketing, opportunity centric marketing, events, internal communications, market research, media relations, recruitment marketing, geographic and across all of Accenture Businesses. Successful candidates will join the 40+ Ireland M&C Community and will participate in community events and learning sessions.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

·  Refine and develop overall message and narrative of The Dock working with global marketing colleagues to ensure The Dock supports and contributes to the overall innovation positioning at Accenture and connects closely to the enterprise wide content program.
·  Design and develop The Dock marketing plan, channels and assets to tell the evolving story and impact of The Dock with relevant audiences, internally and externally and report on relevant metrics
·  Internal
·  Executive Communications. Support the Director of The Dock on relevant communications that require M&C input
·  Local Internal Communications. Drive and deliver internal communications and channels at The Dock to support our employee experience proposition
·  Global Internal communications. Ensure connection to relevant global communications i.e. G&S, Innovation Architecture and connection into each DTE for relevant amplification
·  External
·  Ireland. Ensure The Dock is leveraged as a key asset for the Irish (and UK) market through working closely with the Director of Integrated Marketing Ireland
·  Global. Collaborate across Accenture and the Irish business on relevant programmes including strategic events such as Media and Analyst tours/visits as well as strategic events with the local ecosystem
·  Candidate Marketing. Input and support candidate campaigns and proposition (driven by the Ireland Recruitment Marketing Lead) to ensure the best candidates want to work at The Dock

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree, university degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
·  Minimum 8-10 years of experience
·  Broad overall business acumen and understanding of Accenture's industry and overall business strategy. Experience or knowledge of the innovation and startup ecosystem is an advantage.
·  Proven success in strategic marketing and demonstrable experience of designing programmes to achieve superior results and impact.
·  An ability to handle pressure and deliver multiple programmes concurrently
·  Exceptional content creation skills and content delivery expertise across a broad spectrum of channels including email, web, video and social among others
·  Strong negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues
·  Ability to influence the highest levels of leadership within Accenture's large, matrix organization through relationship building and strong executive-level presence
·  Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues
·  Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skills
·  Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate appropriately with other areas within marketing & communications and other areas within Accenture
·  Strong budget management and financial reporting skills
