The Liquid Studio is a creative studio based in Central London dedicated to bringing user-centered design, industry expertise and emerging tech together to deliver business value and solve problems in real people's lives. · Design and develop proof of concepts, working prototypes and small pilots

Role description

We're looking for a UX designer to join our vibrant studio in Central London. This is an opportunity for a junior candidate to work, learn and grow alongside experienced designers and developers in a friendly and fast paced environment. As a junior UX designer, you'll be exposed to a wide range of project types and industries, working across a variety of devices, tools and platforms to shape and bring to life concepts and features that improve experiences and deliver real value.

Key responsibilities include:

· Work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams to understand or help define business goals, user needs and technology requirements
· Take an active part in the different phases of the creative process, from research and analysis to idea generation and designing solutions
· Create personas, experience maps and customer journeys to ensure we build user-centered and positive end-to-end experiences
· Build wireframes, navigation systems and user flows through sketching, prototyping tools and compelling presentations
· Test concepts and prototypes with users to validate and improve the quality of the products we build
· Stay up-to-date with design trends and industry standards and contribute to knowledge sharing in the team

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas:
·  Strong understanding of information architecture, navigation systems and UX principles and methods
·  Proficiency in hand-sketching and wireframing with a sensitivity to typography, copywriting and color
·  Skills and experience building rapid prototyping using tools such as Sketch, InVision or Axure
·  Good knowledge of accessibility standards and how to adhere to them
·  Experience in using Design thinking methods and working within agile and lean delivery methodologies

Other important requirements
·  Be open minded, highly motivated and wanting to learn and develop
·  Be passionate about tech, innovation and “Building things”
·  Have a strong understanding of interaction design, visual design and user experience
·  Have an excellent attention to detail
·  Have a degree in HCI, UX Design or have similar educational background
·  Have an up-to-date portfolio that presents your work and your thinking process
