Your impact

Within Accenture Digital, we are looking for an enthusiastic student with business acumen that is passionate about image recognition enabled by machine learning (particularly deep learning) algorithms and video analytics to drive processes and decisions making.

Video analytics is the application of computer vision algorithms to video surveillance to gain operational, marketing, security, and safety insights. Feeding data sourced from camera footage into intelligent algorithms can provide our clients with insights into various areas, like operations, marketing, security, and safety.

Artificial Intelligence, and particularly deep learning, fuels image recognition and video analytics, and enables us to track products, people flow, recognizing people, measure crowd density, and much more, and thus, brings value to our clients.

During your internship, you will be working internally within the Digital Artificial Intelligence team and in close co-operation with our Data scientist cross the company to develop innovative concepts and applications. You will be able to choose your focus, either on the business or technical side and have the option to combine this internship with your master thesis.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Minimum domain-specific skills
• Knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python
• Experience with data manipulation and data cleansing in Python, R, Excel or equivalent
• Knowledge of machine learning libraries, preferably in Python (such as sci-kit learn, TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, Keras, etc)
• Understanding of image recognition and video analytics
• Understanding of how machine learning and deep learning algorithms work (Support Vector Machines, k-Nearest Neighbors, Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, Neural Networks etc)
• Experience with machine learning pipelines (from data preparation over training to predictions)

Minimum general skills
• You are a graduate student in your final year of your master degree
• In your studies you have been exposed to the concepts of Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or similar
• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
• You are a team player with excellent communication skills
• You work independently and have a hands-on mentality
• You are creative and take responsibility
• You have a demonstrable affinity with leading-edge technology
• You have the willingness to learn deep technical skills and apply them to the business of our clients
