The job of an Oracle Exadata Database Technical Architect includes responsibility for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of databases within an Oracle Exadata architecture.

More specifically, the role includes the development and design of Exadata database strategies, system monitoring and improving Exadata database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements.

They may also plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard the database within Exadata.

Qualifications :

What Skills and Experiences are we looking for

·  Strong interpersonal and communication both verbal and written skills
·  Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
·  Experience with Oracle Engineering Systems Exadata, Exalogic, SuperCluster, etc.
·  Core DBA Skills including areas such as
·  Database Architecture Design and PLSQL
·  Database Installation, Configuration and Patching including RAC
·  Database Performance Tuning
·  Data Replication, Database Security, Encryption, Compression and Data Masking Redaction
·  Backup and Recovery, DataPump and SQL Loader
·  Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control Cloud Control
·  Industry experience as an Oracle Database Architect with a strong understanding of infrastructure
·  Experience with Oracle databases including hands on knowledge of Oracle Database solutions
·  Knowledge of other Database brands is a plus
·  SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase
·  Very large databases and inmemory database solutions Oracle OCP or OCM certificationOracle Streams and GoldenGate
