Role Description
The role of the Infrastructure Design Lead is to identify, analyze, design and deliver all process related deliverables required to help Programs meet their business objectives and or to improve an organization's productivity, usually by refining strategy or infrastructure
Responsibilities
· Respond to client Requests for Proposal (RFP's) and develop Solution Blueprints that detail complete IS Tools solutions, complete with costing received from Ops and Deployment Teams.
· Represent IS Tools at client sites and deliver documentation and orals for potential client offerings.
· Develop TA357 (low-level design) for IS Tools which include monitoring, automation, asset management tools.
· Develop TA423 (configuration) documents that walk Deployment teams through the processes and details of how to configure tool environments.
· Provide SME advice on tools to other IS Tools teams to help improve tool performance and aid in completing their work.
· Build out Proof of Concepts (PoC's) environments for new tools that fit specific business needs and provide lower cost to serve for clients.
· Perform due diligence and research to compare new and existing market relevant tools and present relevant data to leadership to help them make informed decisions.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
·  Minimum 2 years working with monitoring, automation, discovery, and event management tools.
·  Minimum 3 years of working with virtual infrastructure (server & network) DC environments.
·  Minimum 3 years of experience with Solid foundational understanding of Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) Infrastructure and Architecture
Professional Skill Requirements
·  Integration experience with ServiceNow highly desired.
·  Experience in Linux and/or Windows server administration is highly desired.
·  2+ years of experience with Micro Focus ( formerly HPE Software ) monitoring, automation, discovery, and event management tools (e.g. Network Node Manager (NNM), Operations Manager (OM), Operations Manager i (OMi), Operations Agent (OA), SiteScope (SIS), Reporter, Network Automation (NA))
·  Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent (Typically 4-6 years' industry experience).
·  Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill.
·  Good understanding of PC and Mac computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications, (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
·  Strong organizational skills.
·  Strong written and oral communication skills.
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
