Data Centre and Cloud Transformation Consultant:

This position will focus on selling and delivering projects in the field of platform technologies including data centre rationalizing (DCR), studies/opportunity assessments, Engineered Systems, Data Centre Automation, Server/Storage/Data Centre consolidation business cases and assessments.

Potential candidates must be able to deliver solutions that apply new and emerging technologies that transform enterprise data centres to enable new capabilities such: migration to cloud services, ensure security, improve operational efficiencies, moderate energy, reduce costs, etc.

Key responsibilities include:
·  Delivers Data Centre and Cloud Transformation projects developing proposals and assessments.
·  Identifies, assesses and solves business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of variable factors.
·  Able to manage small and medium size teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications:
·  Experience in Infrastructure.
·  Preferred consulting experience
·  Bachelor's Degree
Requirements:
·  3-6 Years' Experience working with the following Technologies:
·  Knowledge and experience in Data Centre rationalisation engagements and business cases
·  Experience in consulting services will be recognised
·  ITIL Foundation Certification
·  Areas of expertise considered in the role (not necessary all of them):
·  Virtualisation Assessments
·  Platform Technologies (HP Cloud Systems, CISCO UCS, Flexpod, EMC vBlock, etc.)
·  Data Centre Automation – Openstack, HP Cloud Server Automation, CISCO, etc.
·  Private Cloud implementation – Openstack, VMware, CISCO, EMC, HP and IBM.
·  Oracle Engineered Systems - Exadata, Exalogic, Supercluster, etc.
·  Storage – Knowledge of thin provisioning, tiering-storage, SAN, NAS, Information Lifecycle, and others.
·  Server technologies AIX, UNIX, Linux, Data Centre Designs, Riverbed, and others.
·  Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
