Job description
Key Responsibilities
1. Participating in analyses of requirements as well as functional design whenever necessary.
2. Performing design, coding, testing, application maintenance, performance tuning activities.
3. Providing user support
4. Assisting in identifying configuration changes to applications.
5. Participating in the implementation of all actions required to deploy an application.
6. Reporting disruptions in the processes.
7. Ensuring process implementation and raising suggestions for improvement.
8. Assisting with the development of a high-performance, motivated workgroup and fostering team-building skills.
Qualifications
1. College/ Diploma or above.
2. Solid experience using the skills listed below is required:
3. Actual role-specific skills to be defined on a ‘per position’ basis.
4. Sample required skills listed below are just an examples):
Programming language – Java, C, C++, C# or Visual Basic; Using one or more RDBMS – Oracle, SQL Server and/or DB2/UDB, Informix will be highly referred.
5. Knowledge of a UML or database design tool.
6. Understanding of the software-development lifecycle.
7. 2+ years relevant working experience.
8. CET-4 or above
9. Insurance industry developing experience is preferred.
