Travel: Up to 100%
Salary: £72,000 - £120,000

Accenture's Finance & Risk Analytics Team
Our Finance and Risk Analytics team focuses on aligning the strategic vision of Finance & Risk functions whilst delivering complex change programmes across Banking, Capital Markets & Insurance.
We believe that excellence within Finance & Risk functions will be underpinned by three key components:

What We Are Looking For


Our Financial Services clients are increasingly looking to intelligently use their data to transform their businesses. Whether they are looking to meet regulatory compliance, drive cost efficiencies, accelerate their digital transformation or utilise unstructured data in their robotics engines, the speed-to-value and insight afforded by big data solutions has never been more important.

We are looking for candidates with experience of implementing Big Data technologies within Financial Services institutions that also bring a deep understanding of the underlying technologies, challenges and benefits.

Candidates must have:
·  Experience in architecting and implementing Big Data solutions (e.g. Hadoop, Cloudera) in a banking or insurance context
·  Be able to clearly articulate the benefits of big data solutions over more traditional data architectures
·  Be able to advise clients on building or enhancing big data architectures based on industry best practices and their own past experience of such solutions. Credibility in this area requires domain and industry-specific experience.
·  Highly numerate with a strong technical knowledge and experience of applying analytical and modelling techniques to provide insights to business issues.
·  Experience in applying analytical techniques
·  Strong oral and written communication skills.
All candidates must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as client projects may be based across the UK or Ireland.

·  We primarily work with leading Investment, Corporate and Retail Banks and Insurers.
