Seeking a Software Engineer (Java Developer) to help us build Web and backend application/services for credentialing/case management system. Using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment. The candidate will join our team of developers building the next-generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

· 
3 years of recent experience working with RESTful APIs/Spring Services/Spring MVC along with object relational mapping platforms like Spring Data/Hibernate or similar ORM solutions

· 
2 years of recent experience working with Java/JEE application working with Java/JEE application servers like tomcat, weblogic or JBoss etc.

· 
2 years of recent experience developing and implementing web 2.0 applications using open source technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, AngularJS, jQuery

· 
2 year of recent experience using software development tools like Eclipse/STS, Git, Maven, Ant, Jenkins

· 
2 years of recent experience with databases (especially Oracle)

· 
2 years of recent experience with designing and performing unit tests and automated tests

· 
1 year of experience working in an Agile environment

· 
United States Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

· 
Experience in software development for federal government

·  Experience in Responsive Web Design and Single Page web applications
·  Experience in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS & SASS
·  Experience in asynchronous request handling, partial page updates & AJAX
·  Experience with several components in our open-source and enterprise software stack is desired, including. Java, Maven, Git, JavaScript (AngularJS and Bootstrap), Spring Boot/MVC developed with STS, Selenium, and both RESTful and SOAP-based web services
·  Experience working in a continuous integration environment
·  Working experience in windows and Linux environments is desired An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
