The San Antonio Delivery Center is part of the Accenture's US Delivery Center organization, which is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions.

The SAP Functional Consultant is required to provide subject matter & application technical expertise within the core process areas with respect to SAP ECC Plan to Deliver process. The consultant will be required to thoroughly understand their assigned primary functional process area and related business processes. The consultant will take direction from the client team and work with the Production Support resources to 1) perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on assigned issues 2) document issue resolution 3) document new business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis 4) document functional configuration and design requirements 5) assist developers in validating production fixes in the development environment and 6) work with business resources to validate production fixes in the system test environment.

The consultant will be expected to provide status reports to their team lead, coordinate work efforts with Production Support counterparts, and complete deliverables in established project format. The consultant will be integrating with resources from the client, Accenture, and subcontracting companies in completing the duties of this role.

·  Support Production processes and procedures
·  Perform root cause analysis on assigned production tickets
·  Work with the development team to resolve any production errors
·  Utilize all resources across the functional and development team in addition to reference materials and on-line help to build skills within the ERP software
·  Be seen by team members as a go-to resource and leader to filter information and resolve issues ahead of process lead
·  Support the creation of job-aides and other documentation as needed
·  Responsible for Functional Specification creation/modification, Test Case creation/execution, and post production support validation
·  Provide appropriate/timely status on individual responsibilities to lead for communication with leadership:
·  Reporting status of knowledge transfer activities
·  Reporting status of assigned production tickets
·  Reporting time tracking (MY T&E) and expected OT (including deviations for estimates)
·  Submitting Expense documentation on time
·  Escalating perceived risks/issues to lead in a timely matter
·  Providing supporting metrics gathering and analysis
·  Participate in reviews of work products prior to submission
·  Participate in Peer Reviews of work products, where applicable
·  Demonstrate and instruct appropriate risk/issue escalation

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications:
·  Minimum 3 years of functional experience in SAP ECC 6.0 - in Production planning, manufacturing execution.
·  Ability to replicate issues and propose solutions
·  Ability to drive client meetings and working sessions
·  US Citizen or Green Card holder

Preferred Skill:

·  MM experience
·  Microsoft Visio, Power Point and excel skills

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
