The Data Center Specialist is responsible for the operations and support of the Accenture Federal Services dedicated private cloud infrastructure - including physical and virtual servers, storage, backups, and monitoring. The Data Center Specialist deploys and maintains infrastructure, completes service requests, performs troubleshooting/resolution of incidents and patches and updates infrastructure components. They will also have a focus on the configuration management and vulnerability management areas of the infrastructure.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
· US Citizen on US soil (required)
· 3 year(s) of expert level experience in LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high-availability environments
· 3 year(s) of experience in large scale LAN/WAN switching and routing implementation and operation with specific knowledge of VLAN, VPN and Metro Ethernet networking
· 2 year(s) of experience with QoS and LAN traffic management techniques
· 3 year(s) of experience in IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking and information system security principles, practices and technologies
· 2 year(s) of experience working with core Internet routing protocols and services
· 2 year(s) of experience working with intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention system technology
Preferred Qualifications:
· Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently in addition to providing deep technical skills in the networking area
· Ability to quickly troubleshoot any network issues and provide sound solutions
· Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement
· Ability to train junior technicians in network technologies
· Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
· Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
