Brightstep is a leading consultant company within the e-commerce business and we work with large clients such as Stadium, Ellos, Elgiganten, Reima and Axfood. We are around 50 passionated e-commerce consultants with our main office located in the very top in one of the skyscrapers with a great view over Hötorget in Stockholm city center. We are since August 2015 part of the larger group Accenture Interactive.

Working as a E-commerce Developer will include

· Participating in software design, development, and implementation using SAP Hybris Commerce or Intershop
· Representing IT as the primary technical contact and often perform technical project leadership roles.
· Designing system architectures, securing approval from internal and external stakeholders ensuring alignment with the overall solution architecture.
· Coordinating internal IT processes and resources in order to successfully deploy new solutions to the business.
· Educate the client and internal teams on the pros and cons of various design and implementation options, running platform selection processes and building business cases.
· Responsible for mentoring junior developers with code reviews, design reviews, and unit test plan reviews.
· Offer proposed design changes/suggestions to processes and applications, exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment.
· Oversee and participate in the development and unit testing of solutions as specified in the Technical Design and obtains code reviews from appropriate technical staff and ensures standards and policies are adhered to.
· Lead projects and be accountable for successful technical implementation of business software applications.
· Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing

Desired profile

Skills and Qualifications

·  Solid experience within Java and/or web development as well as experience of working with relevant WCM or eCommerce packaged solutions such as Adobe AEM (CQ), SDL Tridion, Sitecore, Fatwire, CrownPeak, hybris, Oracle/ATG, Sterling Order Management, Manhattan Associates, Demandware, Intershop or IBM WebSphere Commerce
·  1-2 years of experience as a lead developer or team lead of a small team
·  Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, object oriented design and in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL
·  Experience with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC, Eclipse
·  Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache Http, Spring tcServer, Solr, open source packages
·  Experience with multiple source control systems: CVS, SVN, Git
