Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
Key responsibilities
· Provide day-to-day, hands-on technical support of production and development SQL Server instances running on Windows Server
· Work as part of a technical support team (L2, L3) delivering a quality service to multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software product in a follow-the-sun support model.
· Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems
Desired profile
· Degree in technical subject
· Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases on administration level and willingness to learn other database systems like Sybase ASE, Oracle, MySQL.
· Ability to work in Windows Server 2008/2012 environment. Unix/Linux systems will be an advantage
· Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
· Good English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work within a team and in co-operation with other teams and third parties
· Experience with Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP) and mobile products like Afaria will be an advantage
· DBA Certification will be an advantage
· Experience on similar position within multinational company will be an advantage
· Proven experience with MySQL databases on administration level will be an advantage
