Professionals in our Corporate Functions run and manage Accenture's internal operations and all activities across our business, from finance, HR, and legal to workplace management, operations, and marketing & communications. They are the engine that powers Accenture, enabling us to provide the capabilities and expertise that clients need to help them become high-performance businesses.

Finance professionals prepare and interpret financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including internal financial controls, to mitigate risk for the company. Finance professionals may also shape and execute client deals to maximize the use of Accenture's capital and resources, manage cash and/or liaise with the investor community.

A critical part of our Finance organization is the Corporate Development & Transaction Services (CDTS) team, which consists of more than 600 market facing Finance professionals worldwide. The CDTS team works closely with our sales, solutions, and legal teams to help shape complex consulting and outsourcing deals in addition to ventures and acquisitions. As deal structures are developed, CDTS professionals act as business advisors and are accountable for the financial quality of bids.

After completing a world class six-week finance training program, the Corporate Development & Transaction Services Analyst provides financial and analytical support for large and complex client engagements. Responsibilities include:

·  Working directly with solutions and sales teams in the pursuit of new business
·  Preparing internal financial models and reporting to support the pricing approach and the client business case
·  Ensuring financial models are compliant with US GAAP, Accenture Policy, and Commercial Standards
·  Providing value-added financial analysis and advice to sales teams to maximize the profitability of the engagement
·  Documenting all costing and pricing assumptions for new opportunities
·  Participating in Accenture executive management reviews

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications:
·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related major with at least 9 credit hours in Accounting
·  Minimum overall GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0

Preferred Skills:

·  Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
·  Ability to analyze and interpret data
·  Proficient in Excel
·  Knowledge of US GAAP helpful

Travel Requirement:
·  Up to 50% travel and work on-site at Accenture field offices and client locations
