About the Job
We are a Digital Marketing and Communications agency specialized in the pharmaceutical industry, composed of a team of 65 employees.
The main office is located in Basel, Switzerland. The company works primarily with international clients – across the whole globe. Our main mission is to reinforce relationships between the different actors of the healthcare chain: the pharmaceutical industry, medical doctors and patients through innovative communications programs. The range of services is focused on the following fields:
Communications (internal and corporate communications), Digital Marketing (web strategies and projects) and eRecruiting (online promotion to recruit patients for clinical trials).
We are currently seeking a senior digital account manager with experience managing complex online marketing / web projects for enterprise-level clients.
Mission
The Senior Digital Account Manager manages client accounts and projects. The account manager is responsible for estimations, planning, controlling and follow-up of complex online marketing projects with both content and system deliverables.
He/she is one of the key contact points between the client and the company's organization, and requires an individual with a passion for managing projects in a geographically distributed, mixed-team environment, with very strong communication and facilitation skills, combined with a sense of urgency and high degree of pro-activity. Furthermore, the role requires a high level of integrity in terms of working with and challenging both internal teams and the client's own requests. Candidates should be ready to bring in best practices from previous experience to continuously improve the project processes in the agency.
Responsibilities :
- coordination and follow-up of client's activities
- monitoring of deliverables towards contractual or verbal agreements
- managing deviations & change requests
- identifying and managing project risks
- project status reporting to client and company management
- coaching & mentoring of junior project/account team members
- continuous improvement of project processes
Relationships :
- interacts directly with the client's project management team
- reports to the Account Director
- monitors the plan and schedule for content production, supported by the Account Executives
- monitors the plan and schedule for system development, supported by the IT Project Manager
Other Details The Senior Account Manager is a key role in the agency's organization with high expectations on communication, structure, and multi-tasking.

Other pre-requisites
Proven experience from managing complex projects for external clients with at least 8 internal project team members.
Proven experience from implementing online marketing or externally-facing web sites.
Proven experience from full life-cycle projects (project definition to post-launch)
Solid understanding of Web2.0 / Social Web.
Marketing & communications in the pharmaceutical industry.
Solid background in requirements engineering
Experience in pre-sales & RFP / proposal management
Professional experience (minimum duration, content, context...)
At least 2 years of experience from project management roles inside a marketing agency or systems integrator.
