Job description
Develop A/B test variation code for our clients using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will use A/B testing and analytics tools like Optimizely, Maxymiser, Adobe Target, Google Analytics (and more!) to test new front end user experiences and validate their performance with data. You'll also get to mentor junior developers and contribute to tools and best practices that help us deliver high quality code, so a genuine passion for development (both code & people!) is a must.
Success for this role is to creating high quality A/B experiments that provide Clearhead's awesome Fortune 500 Clients with real data and actionable insights, so that they may make revenue impacting decisions based on the validated learnings derived from your work.
Your Day
·
Develop high-quality A/B and MVT experiments using custom HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and split testing software suites from the likes of Optimizely, Maxymiser, and Adobe
·
Collaborate with Clearhead's Engagement, UX Design and Measurement & Analytics teams to validate our experiments to:
·
capture test data by leveraging tagging and analytics software solutions (e.g. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics)
·
analyze test data, derive insights, develop recommendations and clearly present results to clients
·
Develop strong client relationships with client's development and product teams to achieve a ‘trusted developer' status, so that they always feel comfortable letting you hack their products
·
Define and iterate on the development and quality assurance processes that will make the Clearhead A/B test development team the best combination of agile, efficient, and bug-free possible

Desired profile
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in front end web development
·
Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Set Yourself Apart: Preferred Requirements
·
Are methodical in your approach to writing, testing, and designing code
·
Have a rock solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
·
Have familiarity with Node.JS
·
Have some familiarity with popular JS frameworks, such as Angular, React, Backbone, etc.
·
A portfolio of code and front end development projects.
·
Are painfully familiar with all the challenges of the various web browsers
·
Love web development with a passion and perhaps even hope that one day native apps will go the way of their desktop predecessors
·
Have 2-5 years working as a web developer on both desktop and mobile web products
·
Have run an A/B or multivariate test and used the data generated from it to make a product decision.
·
Have experience with third-party JavaScript.
·
Have experience with web analytics tools such a Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
·
Have experience mentoring and/or training other developers
