What you'll be doing
Deliver and ensure quality service using a variety of cloud hosted solutions and software products. Collaborate on design and implementation of multi-tenant environments typically coordinating efforts with different cloud hosting and broker providers, infrastructure outsourcing teams and product support group. Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Overall:
· Plan and implement medium to high risk changes on production systems.
· May participate in:
· Planning and designing new platforms and integrating new technologies into existing infrastructure
· Evaluating new technologies and new releases
· Conducting cost analysis of newly designed platforms and technologies focus on Accenture and industry standards, policies and best practices
· Analyze and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on production systems
· Resolve Level1/2 incidents affecting the operation/availability of production systems, through troubleshooting and implementing known fixes.
· Conduct trend analysis with a focus on proactive identification of events/issues that threaten performance and a consistent & timely resolution and documentation.
· Deploy standard repeatable build outs.
· Install, configure, patch and maintain appropriate technologies (e.g. servers/databases/network/ storage/software solutions).
· Manage and support backup strategies.
· Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions.
· Monitor vendors' release notes and plan necessary upgrades and patches as required.
· Assist disaster recovery tests.
· Create and review technical system recovery plans.
· Review the problem management register and identify and implement actions.
· Assess/install/maintain third-party tools.
· Make proactive suggestions for service improvements.
· Demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence.
Cloud-Specific:
· Optimize application and OS configuration to optimize benefits from cloud based architectures, such as cost elasticity and infrastructure auto-scaling capacity.
· Drive implementation of cloud multi-tenant solutions for our software.
· Drive design for cloud multi-tenant solutions for the software.
· Focus on innovation & continued improvement in cost and quality of the technology services.
· Document operations run book for the cloud based solution, ensuring quality control.
· Enable maximized infrastructure automation by leveraging the appropriate scripting languages, techniques and tools.

Desired profile

Your skills and qualifications
·  2+ years of experience architecting and building highly available, scalable cloud-based platform and infrastructure for cloud-native systems.
·  2+ years of experience with one or more of the following platforms: AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, Open Shift.
·  2+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Chef and/or Puppet.
·  2+ years of experience with component technologies required to build robust cloud-based applications: security, storage, role-based access, etc.

Preferred Skills:
·  Using Docker to containerize environments.
·  Experience developing collaboratively with Git.
·  Basic bash skills (find, grep, cp, mv, less, top, etc.)
·  Basic networking (ip vs. MAC, basic OSI, protocols - http, ssh, tcp, sockets, etc.)
·  Infrastructure competence (OS familiarity, virtual, cloud, package management/install services, etc.)
·  Installation, configuration, and development, including work within a production environment.
·  Experience with performance tuning.
·  Experience in defining one or more following architecture aspects: Availability, Maintainability, Operability, Scalability and Portability.
·  Experience with agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, etc).
Qualifications
·  Bachelor's Degree. Major in econometrics, data science, engineering, technology, economics, or business a plus.
