Job description

Looking for full stack developers with the ability to adapt extremely quickly to legacy and/or proprietary system to perform integration with different XR visualization platforms.

The AR/VR Developer builds enterprise-grade applications and core platform services for the Fortune 500 on the Augmented and Virtual Reality devices.
They will be challenged to build lasting, scalable solutions that integrate with legacy systems and take AR/VR delivery from the realm of demos and proofs of concept (PoCs) to serious pilots and production implementations. Their work will empower consumers applications as well as the hundreds of millions of people who use their hands to perform their jobs – redefining the way the world experiences real-time data and visualizations.

Beyond their primary development responsibilities, the AR/VR Developer will be asked to influence Accenture's PoV on various AR/VR technologies and represent Accenture to our clients and strategic ecosystem partners.
The AR/VR Developer will join an existing team of AR/VR developers in Accenture's Emerging Technology group, located in the new Salesforce Tower in downtown San Francisco.


Responsibilities
· Develop custom backend services to extract data from platforms and/or sensors to be utilized in the XR environment
· Interface with RESTful APIs as well as MQTT brokers
· Work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to imagine, build, and launch successful client solutions.
· Identify and proactively manage technical and business decisions, risks, actions and opportunities.
· Gather requirements through interactions with clients.
· Drive user training and adoption.
· Help customers track and evaluate the efficacy and ROI of AR/VR solutions.
· Lead troubleshooting sessions with customers as needed.
· Provide technical input, solution demonstration and guidance to support sales efforts.
· Provide input to estimation of work efforts and solutioning.
· Maintain an active understanding of relevant hardware and software market leaders.
· Establish and communicate informed opinions on the role of AR/VR in the Enterprise.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifying Skills
·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years) or an Associate's Degree with 6 years of experience. Exceptions will be considered.
·  Minimum 2 years industry experience in the software industry as an engineer or developer
·  Hands on experience with object-oriented programming (C#, node.js, Java, …)
·  Working experience in REST, MQTT, and/or similar interfaces.
·  Proficient with different databases flavors (querying, modifying, inserting, …) (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
·  Working knowledge of AR/VR concepts and solutions
·  Thorough working knowledge of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment)
·  Ability to understand business needs, articulate trade-offs, and discuss solutions with business and development teams
·  Flawless written and oral communication across business and technical stakeholders
·  Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks, communicate status, escalate issues and juggle competing priorities
·  Self-starter with a bias toward action and the ability to produce results
·  Strong team player with a “can do” attitude, and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed

Stand Out From the Crowd


·  Experience with Enterprise-grade AR/VR technology platforms such as Upskill Skylight, PTC Vuforia Studio, Unity 2018+, Unreal 4, etc.
·  Networking skills – TURN servers, TCP, UDP, Firewalls & Network Security
·  Experience with real-time audio/video communication platforms and technology
·  Linux deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, …)
