The GCP Apigee API Developer role is responsible for the implementation of cloud native APIs built on Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) Apigee EDGE API management platform. The ideal candidate would also be responsible for developing and delivering cloud native API solutions on Apigee to meet today's high demand in areas such as AI/ML, IoT, advanced analytics, open source, enterprise collaboration, microservices, server less, etc. The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Apigee API Developer will work with customers, cloud partners, and other internal groups to evaluate supporting new technologies and industry specific use cases and architectures based on client needs. Using Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) Apigee EDGE platform, our Apigee API Developer professionals implement state-of-the-art, scalable, high performance solutions that meet the need of today's corporate and emerging digital applications.
Key responsibilities may include:

· Designing, build, testing, and leading the development of cloud native APIs using the Google Cloud Platform Apigee EDGE platform
· Work within an agile team that includes members with cross-functional skills
· Experience designing and leading engineering applications and broader systems and supporting DevOps, i.e management of the process of building software
· Oral status and occasional written reports via daily stand-ups, etc.
· Continuous learning and curiosity of new and emerging technologies/patterns/methodologies and market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.
· Adapt to existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
· Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
· Use considerable judgment to define solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
· Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Establish methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of application design and development experience in a cloud environment
· Minimum of 2 years of experience coding REST services and APIs using one or more of the following: Java, J2EE, JSON, XML, Python
· Minimum of 1 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Apigee EDGE and a passion for learning new technologies
· Strong knowledge of UI development (JSP, HTML, CSS, Ajax, XML)
· Strong knowledge of web services (WSDL Soap, Restful)
· Must have good experience in APIGEE API development through the entire SDLC process
· Previous Implementation/Delivery experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Apigee EDGE
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience
· Ability to meet travel requirements (100% Monday-Thursday) Preferred Qualifications:
· Google Cloud Certified Apigee API Engineer
· Experience working with Apigee Edge API management platform and Developer Portal.
· Must have good experience in Apigee API development through the entire SDLC process
· Good experience in developing API's on Apigee Edge, onboarding APIs to Apigee, and also developing customized policies
· Strong knowledge/experience of Apigee API design, development, and testing including creating SWAGGER/Open API specs
· Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework components (Spring MVC, Spring Security), java frameworks, and REST services
· Strong knowledge of UI development (JSP, HTML, CSS, Ajax, XML)
· Strong knowledge of web services (WSDL Soap, Restful)
· Minimum of 1 years of experience in event-driven/microservices in the cloud
· Experience working with DevOps/CI/CD for application development Professional Skill Requirements:

· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
