The API architect operates within the SDK group and is responsible for directing, designing, documenting and implementing consistent and cohesive GraphQL based API signatures and entities. Resulting API allows access to business functionality provided by the system, and as such must be designed and organized in a logical, predictable, consistent and learnable manner. API consumers include an internally developed borrower portal, an operational client for lending personnel, and an administrative client for system configuration in addition to third party sources. The primary focus of this position is to help design and build out the API surface to address requirements from these consumers as well as functionality required for the strategic technical roadmap.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of REST or GraphQL
- Minimum of 3 years JavaScript
- Minimum of 3 years of C / .NET
- Minimum of 3 years T SQL query design

Preferred skills:
Financial Services specifically banking and or mortgage knowledge is desired. Experience with API endpoint design is desired.
