Operations Analytics Consultant

Role

The primary purpose of this role is to create, configure, and monitor predictive maintenance models for predicting equipment failure based on periodic or live data feed from client sites. In order to do this, the candidate will interface with clients to understand engineering aspects of complex equipment and equipment history to create predictive models. The role would also require support for pre-sales as well as creation of re-usable assets and publications based on past Accenture projects. Furthermore, the candidate would also require good understanding of Inventory Analytics, Spare Parts Planning, Forecasting Analytics and Warranty Analytics.

Key Competencies and Characteristics:

The work would require the following:

• Deep understanding of predictive modeling
• Past experience with tools in the predictive analytics domain and planning tools
• Appreciation of underlying business fundamentals in the predictive maintenance area
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Data Analytics
• Proficiency with MS word, excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SQL or other DBMS would be preferred.

Desired profile

Experience:

Ideal candidates would have an Engineering/Statistics degree. A minimum 3-7 years of experience in maintenance or related areas with supply chain exposure. Hands-on experience with at relevant analytics tool is important (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS, and Minitab etc.).
