Job description
Objective of the job :
The primary responsibility of the position is to provide direction to the teams in case of complex transactions in various financial and accounting functions after consultation/clarifications with/from client, provide required expertise and support in F&A processes, co-ordination of month end close, regular and ad hoc reporting, analyze transactions, explain variances, general support for F&A processes and co-ordination with the Team Lead (including acting as his back up when required), Manager and Client as appropriate.
Key tasks and activities :
Operational:
· Multi-tasking and managing different stakeholders is vital
· Understand client's business needs and ensure that processes are aligned
· Engage with CAO/FAM on all day to day operations/deliverables and bring up potential issues concerning compliance and reporting requirements.
· Review for completes and accuracy all reports prior to submission to CAO/FAM
· Respond in a timely manner to all requests from CAO/FAM
· Work with teams and ensures that SLAs are met
· Proactively escalate issues that require intervention/clarification
Financial:
· Identify areas of cost reduction by process and productivity improvements
· Support both Accenture process improvement initiatives as well as Client improvement projects
Client/Customer:
· Ensure compliance with Client's policies and procedures
· Ensure compliance with Client's accounting policies
· Ensure timely communication to customers
· Develop/further expand an understanding of Client's business
· Build flexibility and adaptability to ensure smooth service delivery
· Ensure that client's requests are handled professionally
People:
· Coach and nurture team reporting into them
· Share best practices – (leverage the knowledge across teams)
· Participate in Team Initiatives/events
· Work effectively in a team environment
· Share ideas and seek clarification

Desired profile
Qualifications :
Required professional experience :
· Over 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting Field
· Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Romania/Bulgaria/Spain/Portugal accounting
· Experience in a similar position as Assistant Chief Accountant in an BPO environment
· Very good knowledge of SAP
· Experience in coordinating global teams driving project results
