PHP Web Developer - Herts/Essex based Design Agency

Salary £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated PHP developer to help our client with their expanding customer base and company growth.

You might be a graduate or someone with 1 or 2 years experience, looking to develop your skills and work on some really exciting projects. You’ll be working closely with our clients lead developer and their Creative Director and the rest of their fabulous team on diverse, creative projects for local, national and global brands.

So if you’re a passionate, detailed, talented developer who’s full of energy and enthusiasm, with a desire to develop in a positive and creative environment, then this role is for you.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE...

Developing bespoke websites and often complex systems
Developing responsive websites
Working with the WordPress content management system
Preplanning of websites, creating specification documents
Occasionally supporting the Creative Director in initial client meetings
Building HTML templates for websites & emails
Cross browser and user centered testing
Project management duties
Maintenance of existing client websites

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF...

CakePHP (or equivalent PHP MVC framework)
PHP
HTML / CSS
SASS
JavaScript
jQuery

AND HAVE...

Extremely good communication skills
Experience of dealing with clients and outstanding customer service
The ability to laugh at yourself
A brain full of awesome ideas and the ability to share them
