We need a passionate, solutions orientated team player to join AB InBev as a Transport Planning Specialist within our Logistics team. You will be responsible for the coordination of internal and external transportation and capacity management of our famous beers, in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. This involves the owning of communications with the transport carriers, including the evaluation of these suppliers on service and cost, while building your future career at AB InBev. What are the duties?

·  Responsibility for overall lowest cost and efficient transport planning for NL region
·  To coordinate the internal and external transport capacity usage and availability
·  The communication towards the hauliers to confirm transport planning and needs
·  To ensure that the non-compliant transport is corrected and confirmed afterwards and communicated to the appropriate team
·  To ensure that transport exceptions and last minute demands are executed and managed and communicated
·  Responsible for evaluation of transport and Suppliers regarding service and costs
·  To ensure financial and administrative transactions are properly recorded and entered into the system

Required competency and experience

What do we require?

·  Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
·  1-3 years of experience (supply chain/transport planning/customer service/ or other related)
·  Understanding of supply chain operations and logistic processes (advantage)
·  Able to understand cost-impact versus customer-impact and able to find the right balance
·  Good know-how of regional market
·  Excellent computer skills (Excel)
·  Logistics degree, university level or equivalent through experience
