For our site in Jupille we are looking for a First Line Manager for the packaging department.

Duties and responsibilities

·  Lead a team of operators: planning, identify training needs, coaching of team members, evaluation of individual performance, defining positive challenges, recognition and reinforcement of good behaviour and celebrating successes.
·  Management of the daily and weekly activities
·  Making sure all KPIs and the objectives of the department are met, encourage the team to achieve the department KPI's in order to meet the high performance standards.
·  Guarding the quality of the final product
·  Make sure budget is met, working at optimal production costs, in accordance with best practices.
·  Organization and monitoring of daily operations within Packaging, control the line processes (start, stop, production,…)
·  Respect the EHS norm, guard the quality norms and respect the HACCP norms.

Required competency and experience

·  Charismatic and dynamic person, who knows how to motivate a team
·  Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
·  Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar function
·  Good knowledge of operational activities within the packaging domain
·  Problem-solving and analytical skills.
·  Leadership skills: strong communication and coaching
·  SAP knowledge
·  Result-oriented, with strong attention to detail
·  Willing to work in shifts
