Job description

Tasks:
Responsibilities

- Coordinates schedule with Warehouse Manager and Planning
- Monitors Work-in-Process
- Serves as primary trainer for team members assigned to the area while using established “best practice” in training - Creates, updates, maintains, trains and qualifies Team Members on JI's (Job Instructions) and JHA's (Job Hazard
Analysis)
- Audits processes in work area including safety, established methods for work, dispatch list, and efficiency
- Creates and implements suggestions to continually improve processes in the areas of safety, service, quality, and cost
- Helps analyze and solve issues within the materials group
- Provides reports and documentation that are accurate, legible and submitted in a timely basis
- Relieves Team Members during lunch/breaks or time off as necessary
- Participates in EHS and 5S Audits and correction of operational deficiencies
- Allocate inventory as required by orders to maintain inventory accuracy and On Time Delivery to the internal and external customer
- Safely loads and unloads trucks as needed
- Completes transactions using the TOPS and KBM systems including issues, transfers, receipts etc. to maintain inventory accuracy
- Wears required personal protective equipment
- Capable and willing to work overtime
- Research inventory discrepancies and investigate UPARR's to establish corrective action
- Awards and tracks Team Member's “Safety Points”
- Manages returned material via the RMA process and file carrier claims regarding damaged incoming material
- Monitors sand prioritizes space allocation for the storerooms based off the incoming and outgoing of material - Adjusts and maintains the inventory accuracy of the QA Hold locations - Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work with Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint
- Good English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) to be able to communicate and discuss with
English speaking internal and external customers; skill must be at a minimum of a 9th grade English level - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Conducts business in a professional manner
- Leads by example at all times
- Willing to compromise to benefit team goals
- Keeps team members apprised, negotiates skillfully, strives to understand others, deals effectively with change, cool under pressure
- Strong demonstrated leadership skills

- Must complete all required mandatory Safety and OSHA training
- Must have the ability to evaluate errors to determine the root cause and initiate corrective actions and reconcile inventory
- Must be certified to operate electric and/or gas powered forklift - Strong training skills
