Tasks:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a member of the order verification team to ensure proper order entry and proper communication of order details throughout the value stream. Create and maintain Project Order folders/files.
Review Customer specifications and examine new contracts to ensure thorough understanding and adherence to desired contract terms and conditions.
Orders designated to be fully managed will be tracked through each step of the value steam. This includes all orders sold as ETO/DTO, inside standard lead time and any others as deemed necessary for the success of the project (i.e. includes Witness test).
Lead an order kick off meeting for all managed project. This meeting should include all departments of the value stream.
Prepare a schedule to meet the target timeline of the customer's schedule and communicate schedule to customer.
Ensure accounting of time required for Engineering, procurement and production/test.
Review and coordinate flow of information among various groups and customers, and implement measures to resolve problems, ensure meeting schedule commitments, and achieve customer satisfaction.
Track the progress of all assigned sales orders and provide weekly updates to management and the customer (as needed)
When applicable, organize and/or host witness testing, and any customer visits for assigned orders
Ensure all punch list items generated from the witness test are completed and coordinate communication for shipping release with Customer when needed.
Resolve disputes involving back charges, escalation, delays and extras.
Facilitate customer handoff to service for scheduling of services through our service team
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
This is a non-supervisory role
Ability to build Internal relationships – works directly with Regional Sales Manager, Application Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Engineering and Management Teams as necessary
Ability to build External relationships – daily interaction with End Customers and Sales Representatives
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE
On time delivery of managed projects per the commitments to the customer
On budget, within company guidelines, for managed projects
Order verification accuracy for released orders. Target is 100%
Zero discrepancies on annual audits of sales files and value stream processes
Overall customer satisfaction of how we delivered on the assigned project

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
2-4 yr degree preferred
3-5 years of Project Management experience
3-5 years experience working in an engineering based solutions company
Ability to manage multiple projects
Strong time management skills
Ability to determine priority of workload and maintain good follow up skills
Strong skills in ERP systems as well as MS Office products
