ABB's Industrial Automation Division provides modern solutions for various types of industries. The division consists of seven business units: Oil, Gas and Chemicals (IAOG), Process Industries (IAPI), Marine and Ports (IAMP), Turbocharging (IATU), Control Technologies (IACT), Power Generation (IAPG) and Measurement and Analytics (IAMA). ABB is active across the entire hydrocarbon value chain, from exploration and production to supply, transport and distribution, as well as refining, chemicals and petrochemicals. Our offerings range from integrated automation and electrical products and systems, to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, to service itself. We are seeking a Project Manager in Bangkok to join our team in Industrial Automation division who will lead SME project execution to ensure that all related activities of the project life cycle is controlled and monitored in the right manner according to ABB policy. You will also be responsible for contract management, customer management, team management, schedule control, financial control, quality control, safety and environment control as per ABB policy.

Tasks:

Reporting to the Project Management Manager, your key areas of responsibilities will be:
• Lead the project for all the participants under the project team.
• Be the single channel of contact for the customers for all commercial and general matter.
• Maintain project time schedule and milestone control and rectify action when project runs behind schedule/milestone target.
• Forecast all expenses and invoicing for the projects on a monthly basis and control project cash flow.
• Control and monitor project procurement for the best negotiated price and within the right time to minimize WIP.
• Maintain quality and safety management by utilizing Safety Officer and QA Engineer for project as a standard for Quality and Safety at site.
• Utilize SAP as a tool for project control and monitoring.
• Utilize Promise as a Project Monitoring tool.

Desired profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Control Engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience in project management, ideally complex ones.
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and the local language (Thai).
