Job description
Tasks:
• Plan, organise and manage all aspects associated with ABB Service projects
• Implement ABB's procedures for order set up, equipment ordering/expediting, progress payments, project insurances, project meetings, site set-up, sub-contractor payments, variation orders, invoicing etc.
• Understand and utilise all technical documents and project programme tools associated with projects
• Carry out risk assessments and Safety Observational Tours
• Ensure ABB's quality assurance policies and procedures are followed
• Hold regular project meetings and produce accurate project reports
• Co-ordinate Factory Acceptance Tests and attend same (Note: Short term travel outside of Ireland required)
• Co-ordinate site civil work, equipment installation and commissioning
• Represent ABB in all correspondence and meetings with the customer/sub-contractor
• Coordinate Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental policies with the responsible site personnel
• Ensure all ABB's activities are properly coordinated with the clients programme
• Compile project files and handover O&M files on project completion
• Ensure projects are executed within the established time and estimated costs
• Provide leadership in the application of ABB's Values and Health, Safety & Environment policy in all aspects of project delivery

Requirements:
• Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills with the ability to prioritise and manage peaks in workload
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with ABB employees in a professional manner, both in person and via telephone, and a strong focus on managing customer relationships
• Extremely detail conscious and numerate
• Excellent administration skills
• Excellent Information Technology skills (inc. knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, MS Project, CAD etc.)
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of Project scheduling, planning, estimation, procurement & cost control
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Electrical installations, including Switchgears, Control & Protection Panels, LV Panels, Cabling etc
• Effective reporting, presentation skills and organising capabilities are a must
• Have experience with project management techniques, SAP (or other ERP systems) and financial reporting
• Formal Project Management qualification beneficial
• Electrical Trade Certificate or Engineering Diploma/Degree required
