Tasks:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
• Deliver advanced application engineering for an Electrical power Management system as per customer functional specifications.
• Ensure that engineering is developed with complete information and that multidisciplinary information has been included in the engineering development by understanding electrical control drawings and loops.
• Provide advanced level of support for the ABB product development team for product type testing, system type testing and functional type testing.
• Co-ordinate for power system integration design, system automation design and HMI design and implementation in a project.
• Verify and test Power management applications developed as per ABB standard power management system.
• Ensure completion of Power Management System related risk assessments and opportunity assessments, and supports the Project Manager in the overall project risk and opportunity assessment (e.g. variation orders and claims) and implementation of resulting actions for own project responsibilities.
• Provide Solutions for electrical automation projects or programs through coordination of proposal drawings, bills of materials and estimated engineering hours. Perform engineering risk analysis before submitting proposal.

Desired profile

Requirements:

To fit in this role, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Leading Engineering and commissioning of Power management system projects covering the functionalities of Primary equipment monitoring and control, Load shedding, Load sharing and Synchronization. Experience in working with various manufacturer IED's on IEC 61850 Protocol in creating IEC, ICD, CID, SCD Files will be an ideal fit for this position, along with experience in configuration of Controllers, Protocol Gateways, Data Concentrators on various communication protocols.
