Internal Audit Manager (m/w)

We are looking to appoint an Internal Audit Manager responsible for providing objective, independent advice for the purpose of streamlining the organization's operations and delivering added value within this area. In this role, you will help the company to meet its objectives by adopting a disciplined, systematic approach when it comes to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Tasks:

- Manage operational and financial audits, including complex projects involving the collection, analysis, and interpretation of extensive data to arrive at an informed audit opinion
- Prepare and perform quality review of audit work papers in accordance with Internal Audit standards and carry out accurate evaluation of internal control system for audited unit
- Document audit findings, risks, and recommendations and prepare audit report, in addition to communicating audit results within Internal Audit department at management level
- Contribute to and/or lead compliance audits/reviews as well as documenting and reporting findings to Internal Audit Manager, Regional Head of Internal Audit, and other stakeholders
- Perform design reviews and walkthroughs for different reporting processes, in addition to entity-level control reviews and testing reviews as well as other special assignments
- Lead or contribute to global team responsible for developing a framework/guideline (practice) for defined business processes

Desired profile

Requirements:

- Bachelor's / Master's degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Auditing, complemented by several years' professional experience in the field of auditing preferably with Big Four audit companies
- Proven track record in performing audits relating to large projects for utility or industry segments considered a valuable asset
- CIA, CISA, CPA, or CFE certifications desirable, as are proficiency in SAP and well-developed IT skills. Exposure to state of the art Audit Function using Business/Data Analytics is a plus
- Ability to manage teams and auditees of different cultures and capacity to work in a changing team-based environment together with a desire to develop your leadership skills
- Finely honed communication skills, including a strong command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional European languages desirable
- Flexibility to travel approximately 60% of the time, mainly within Europe
