Job description
Tasks:
Market Analysis
• Updating market intelligence (assess business potentials within current markets, segmentation, competition, price levels by knowing the competition) in close cooperation with Front End Sales as well as other Sales Organizations (including, but not limit to PS/PA) of ABB affiliates in assigned markets.
• Feeding-back to Front End Sales and/or Management and/or R&D and/or Technical Department on new market influences
• Driving identification and development of new leads and prospects together with Front End Sales
Marketing (incl. Marketing Communication)
• Communicating the value proposition of the offer to Front End Sales, other ABB affiliates' Sales Organizations and the end customers
• Assuring updated and correct marketing / product information to Front End Sales, other ABB affiliates' Sales Organizations and the end-customer. Educating Front End Sales, other ABB affiliates' Sales Organizations in the Local Business Unit portfolio
• Developing the business through close cooperation with Front End Sales Account Manager, or directly with other ABB affiliates' Sales Organizations or end customer where appropriate, to identify sales opportunities at an early stage
• Create won-lost analysis by track and monitor quotations, ccp, Nextra (e.g. projects lists, volume of offers, provide feed-back of offers)
• Feedback on portfolio gaps and future customer needs to support R&D processes
Pre-Sales & Customer Relationship Management
• Understand customer needs and identify opportunities in close cooperation with Front End Sales
• Promote and sell the Local Business Unit portfolio of products and services and/or to be responsible for plant visits by other ABB affliates Front End Sales and other Sales Organizations personnel and/or end customers in line with Business Unit and divisional strategies
• Proactively identify business opportunities in assigned markets by using appropriate tools
• Initiate the formation of and lead project teams for larger business deals
• Participate and initiate in Business Unit and/or divisional cross-selling teams
Sales (incl. quotations & order handling)
• Supporting or collecting and analysis customer data by using the appropriate tools
• Together with Front End Sales convince the customer, drive negotiations and close the deal - ensure customer satisfaction throughout the complete sales process with most suitable solution/proposal to customer
• Being responsible for development of quotation based on the customer situation
• Conducting risk reviews (e.g. ensure Local Business Unit price quality). Registering accurate input in risk review database (applicable for system sales only)
• Tracking and monitoring quotations, ccp and Nextra (volume of offers, won-lost analysis, provide feed back of offers to the BU, price-analysis per customer and product, etc.)
• Acting as product champion vis-à-vis Front End Sales
After Sales (incl. Service & Support)
• Closely cooperating with Project Manager to assist in communication, negotiation with other ABB affiliates' Front End Sales, other Sales organizations and customers when required.
• Actively involving with Project Manager to meet with customers, other ABB affiliates personnel during FAT witness to get better understanding, information of customer needs, market development to find out future opportunities.
• Contributing to after sales for the products. Identifying new sales opportunities

Requirements:
Education: University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: At least two years of experience working with relevant Panel builders, Consultants and Contractors
Knowledge & Skills:
• Attention to detail, self-starters, proactive, ability to learn, good interpersonal skills and result-oriented;
• Able to work under pressure and willing to travel within assigned territory and overseas;
• Computer literate, ability to use AutoCAD is a plus;
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Demonstrate strong capability and experience in benefit, value based sales.
• Good business analysis Skill
• Strong negotiation skill
• Diversify management skill to be able to take lead in cooperation with Front End Sales and other Sales organizations in other ABB affiliates.
• Education – University degree, major in Engineering and/or Technical
• Able to work in flexible, international and multi-cultural team environment
• Able to communicate with all levels in a business type manner in English
• Able to present technical and product specifications information to a variety of audiences in a variety of ways (eg. formal/informal tendering, sales presentations etc.) in English.
• Open to international travel and working in a difference time frame from Vietnam normal working time to adapt with difference time zones of the markets in charge.
• Dynamic, strategic with good business acumen
• Strong ethic, compliance understanding and perception.
• Strong English.
• Knowing French shall be an advantage.
