We are seeking a Communications Manager in Bangkok to join our Power Grids division who will represent the Power Grids Division communications for South East Asian countries. You will align with key business stakeholders in each country to understand the market environment and business priorities, plan and coordinate communications activity to support the division in these markets.

Tasks:

Reporting to the Division Communications Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Understand the Power Grids division business priorities and support the business/sales goals with appropriate communication material, events, and market activities.
• Liaise with global communication team to understand and disseminate available marketing material as needed by business teams.
• Communicate the Power Grids strategy and vision internally as required through town halls, webcast, newsletters, employee letters etc. and publish content through internal channels such as intranet, yammer and mailboxes.
• Create thought leadership opportunities for the markets through media and speaking opportunities, including developing key spokespersons and messaging.
• Liaise with country communications teams to provide information and communication support relevant to Power Grids division.
• Create common messaging themes, define and pursue media opportunities, train and cultivate expert spokespersons, position spokespersons at high level events.
• Identify and create internal and external success stories, create material on these such as videos, articles, photo-shoots etc.
• Create marcoms material as required including brochures, PPTs, fliers, videos, etc. and coordinate division participation in events.

Desired profile

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network within the business, as well as work in a virtual team. You should also have the ability to understand business priorities and create actionable deliverables based on them. Additionally, you should have exposure in event management, planning, web/intranet content publication and content management. Strong writing and conceptualization skills will be essential to be successful in this role.
