Aalco is the largest distributor of non ferrous metals in the UK.

We have a vacancy for an Internal Sales role based at our site in Halesowen.

We are looking for someone who is driven and has the will to succeed. Previous sales experience would be useful but not essential as continuous training and support, both external and "on the job", will be provided.

Selling metal to a portfolio of existing customers and developing additional new business, you will be expected to drive sales and provide outstanding customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed your gross profit (GP) target.
  • Achieve all targets both personal and team as set by the Sales Manager
  • Continually develop both new and existing business
  • Deliver great customer service at all times
  • Continue to improve and develop personal skills
  • Complete all administrative tasks efficiently, accurately and on time

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience of selling helpful
  • A high level of drive and determination
  • A high level of communication skills
  • Proven success in developing customer relationships
  • Experience of working with and developing customers
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Able to work as part of a diverse team
