A Brands Ltd, an events company in London who are responsible for Secret Brunch, are looking for an enthusiastic office volunteer to assist with the planning and preparation for a series of events, which will start at the beginning of February 2017.
Supporting the in-house management team, tasks will include but not limited to:
Venue sourcing based on brand guidelines
Sourcing appropriate entertainment options, negotiating rates and creating shows
Working within budgets to source prop and theming and other printed materials
preparing reports, budgets ad presentations depending on events and client
Drafting emails so a proficiency in English is essential
Designing decorations and pallets depending on event
Answering telephone inquiries and general office admin
As a volunteer, you will be given the opportunity to work on a number of rewarding projects, meet some great new people and of course gain invaluable event experience.
Training and previous experience is not a requirement, but good communication, organizational skills, and regular commitment is.
While we prefer consistency, as a volunteer there are no set hours or days but whatever time you are able to give will make a huge difference. We are able to work with 3-5 days a week in the office, with an occasional Saturday day for the execution of the event. The more time you are able to give, the more responsibility you will be able to take on. We are also able to offer reasonable travel expenses and references.
