Job Summary :

The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analyst will provide data support and analysis, report development, and support for Global Trade Services related functions (GTS) with specific emphasis on compliance controls, operational support, KPI, and metrics issues in GTS systems and SAP go-live activities.   

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Design, create, and document analytics and results in support of US ERP rollout
·  Provide adhoc service reporting and consulting to business and end users
·  Look at data trends and recommend solutions for improving processes for 3M
·  Work with process teams to ensure reporting complies with global standards and meets performance goals
·  Create, execute, and document all report development. 
·  Participate on all teams necessary to coordinate cross-process reporting
·  Provide data subject matter expertise and deliver training and support materials for reporting
·  Know and understand ERP and GTS data structures 
·  Assist in maintaining reporting consistency and rigor during and after SAP deployments
·  Know and understand GTS modules including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, and Electronic Compliance Reporting
·  Work with Trade Compliance professionals and be able to interpret and translate the regulatory requirements into the functional design for the report

Basic Qualifications:

·  Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
·  Minimum of three (3) years of supply chain experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Minimum of two (2) years of GTS experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
·  Achieved or working towards SAP certification
·  Possesses knowledge and understanding of import/export rules and regulations for countries around the world
·  Possesses knowledge, understanding and an interest in changes in global trade compliance
·  Strong analytical, decision-making skills
·  Experience with the 3M agile process and scrum teams
·  Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and self-motivated skills
·  Proficiency with analytical tools – Business Objects, Power BI, Excel, SQL
·  Experience with SCPA and SAP Supply Chain Service Reports
·  Good working knowledge of Office 365 applications and able to extract analyze systems data
·  Ability to work in rapidly changing environment
·  Customs Broker License
