Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Strategic Account Specialist will provide analytical profit reviews, training and technical support to the West Region’s largest end user accounts to include regional large single shop and multi shop repair organizations.  Will also provide support to the West Regional sales team in identifying and closing the biggest shop opportunities.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government, or military environments to a 3M career.     

 Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Self starter, self directed that leads with high energy and passion
·  Consults with Large Single Organizations and Multiple Shop Organizations (MSO’s) to improve productivity and profitability using 3M performance plus and performance analysis tools
·  Supports the efforts to convert and train the regional MSOs
·  Implements the regional plan associated with the National plans established at the headquarter locations of the large MSO organizations in the US
·  Determines the level of involvement needed based on the capabilities of the locations within the geographic boundaries of the West Region
·  Willingness to be on-call

Basic Qualifications:  

· 
Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

· 
Minimum of three (3) combined years of Sales and/or Technical experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

· 
Current, valid Drivers license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Master's degree in marketing or a technical field
·  3 years Automotive Aftermarket Sales experience
·  Experience in collision repair process 
·  Skills include hands on abilities and training,
·  Strong planning as well as analytical and presentation skills.  Financial acumen, experienced with Excel and other electronic tools.

Location : Bay Area, CA (San Francisco, Oakland, etc)

Sales Territory: West Region

Travel: May include up to 60% travel

Relocation: Is authorized within country per 3M policies
