Job Summary :

The person hired for the position of Quality Supervisor will provide leadership for quality assurance for the Quapaw plant. They will be a member of the Plant Leadership Team as well as the AdMD division Quality Leadership.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.     

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Maintain and improves quality systems and measurements. Ensure QMS meets required standards (ISO 9001:2015, NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, other standards/regulations required by internal/external customers); act as ISO 9001 Management Representative
·  Investigates quality related issues with appropriate stakeholders to determine root cause of manufacturing failures, developing a plan of action to address related issues
·  Work closely with Manufacturing and Sales to ensure quality products are provided to our customers and any product quality issues are handled effectively and efficiently
·  Promote Quality Management strategic vision, quality policy, quality objectives and quality improvement initiatives across all departments and levels of organization
·  Assures quality tools and methodologies are consistently used effectively and efficiently across the organization
·  Driving quality improvement using best practice, statistical techniques, and Six Sigma methodologies
·  Participate in and promote Quality at daily Tier meetings; develop and oversee metrics tracking to ensure improvement activities address and correct identified deficiencies and non-conformances
·  Manage Quality and Analytical Laboratory personnel and company assets
·  Ensure a safe work environment through development and maintenance of safe work practices, and implementation of and participation in training, observation and corrective action programs; champion and provides leadership in corporate and site specific EHS and regulatory compliance projects and programs
·  Support 5S, Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma teams in implementing programs to improve workplace housekeeping and efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

·  Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
·  Minimum three (3) years of combined manufacturing and/or Quality experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution
·  Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
·  Understanding of analytical instrumentation, data acquisition systems and statistical analysis;
·  Proven knowledge of ISO 9001 and NQA-1 Quality standards, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and 10CFR21
·  Working knowledge of SPC applications
·  Working knowledge of gauge R&R
·  Working knowledge of analytical lab equipment, function and basic maintenance
·  Strong knowledge of analytical methods development, validation procedures, and quality assurance
·  Basic understanding of theory and operation of ICP-MS, DC-Arc, FAA, GF-AA, IC, C/S determinator, O/N determinator, titrator, and other instrumentation as necessary.
·  Leadership skills in supervising people, teams and/or projects including the direction of others & allocation of resources

Location: Quapaw, OK

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation: Is authorized
