Job Summary :
The person hired for this position will be responsible for providing quality leadership for the operations and will be actively engaged in the development & execution of the plant quality strategies and initiatives. These responsibilities will be directly tied to the global vision and align with the long-term strategies of the plant operations. Key objectives will include developing a high-quality culture and flexible team, maintaining applicable ISO & IATF certifications across the three (3) manufacturing operations, delivering products to customers with consistent and robust quality, resolution of customer complaints and stakeholder concerns, and driving effective and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
· Developing, building and supporting a high performing FAB Quality team.
· Supervising, supporting & developing Quality Engineering & Quality Technician staff including interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing personnel complaints and resolving problems.
· Setting performance goals for individuals and quality goals for FAB organization that support the broader needs of the plant and customer divisions while driving continuous improvement.
· Managing the analyzation and monitoring of customer complaints and non-conforming product. Identify trends and special causes. Providing appropriate level of analysis to product teams and management team. Driving associated corrective action and quality improvements efforts. Ensuring customer complaints are handled expeditiously.
· Maintaining regulatory and certified body registrations, including ISO9001 and IATF19649.
· Managing internal and external product and process audits.
· Monitoring, facilitating and reporting on CAPA’s while providing visibility and appropriate priority to these activities.
· Managing appropriate supplier interactions (internal and external) and supplier management process.
· Establishing and executing strategic plan for plant quality system (include driving plant, division, and corporate initiatives).
· Optimizing data analysis tools and provide quality scorecard reports to organization.
· Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
· Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
· Minimum of five (5) years combined quality systems, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, product engineering, and/or product development experience in a private, public, government or military environment
· Minimum of two (2) years experience supporting ISO9001 and IATF 19649 programs
· Minimum of two (2) years experience managing or supervising direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing or supervising direct reports
· Minimum of two (2) years of quality or product engineering experience
· Minimum of two (2) years of experience deploying industry specific quality system requirements such as ISO9001 and IATF 19649
· Working knowledge of IT solutions for Quality (CFR, eMatrix, ISM, SAP, etc.)
· Experience leading internal and external audit or certified internal auditor ISO9001
· Excellent attention to detail and process/system oriented
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Effective in conducting root cause analysis
· Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong leadership skills, integration and networking capability
· Ability to work within team structure to influence and support quality improvement
· Experience working directly with customers
