3M is seeking a Legal Intern for the Legal Affairs Group located in Maplewood, Minnesota for summer 2019. Here, you go!

An internship is a temporary position within 3M. Interns typically work a full-time schedule throughout a 10-12 week assignment. This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year. 3M provides eligible interns with temporary housing and round-trip travel reimbursement in accordance with current policy.
About Legal Affairs:
A Legal Intern will have the opportunity to work in 3M’s corporate law department, which includes a wide variety of legal disciplines and functions. The intern may get a chance to work in any number of areas on substantive legal research and analysis. Some examples include: General Corporate Law, Employment Law, Environmental Law, Health Care, Consumer Law, Anti-Trust, Litigation, Compliance, Benefits, Privacy, Sourcing and others. Specific assignments will be made after the candidate has accepted the position.
Job Summary:
As a legal intern, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
· Performing legal research and analysis
· Participating in office projects within the Legal Affairs department
· Team with 3M attorneys to serve 3M’s in-house clientele
Basic Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
· Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
